Project Management

The Project has a 4-tier management structure.

Project Steering Committee (PSC) has been established during the Project Kick-off Meeting with the responsibility of making ultimate decisions. It involves per 1 representative from each Partner Institution and will meet biannually in order to review the project progress and make necessary changes, if needed. To give all partners opportunity to participate in decision-making process the PSC will take collective decisions by consensus voting. It will have 6 coordination meetings to inform on project status, review progress and take major decisions.

As a Project Contractor YSU takes care of overall coordination, management and reporting. For this purpose a Project Management Team (PMT) has been formed at YSU to take administrative responsibilities over the Project's day-to-day management.

To facilitate communication with and within countries and administrative execution of the Project at national levels 3 National Coordinators are nominated from the institutional coordinators, who will work and communicate with other institutional coordinators from their respective countries.

Each partner institution has nominated an Institutional Coordinator (contact person), who is responsible for coordination and organization of project activities within their respective institutions.

Close links and communication channels are also established between the 4 management levels in order to guarantee efficiency of the management activities.
