In-House Online Trainings at Ilia State University

Online TTs took place from the 5th to the 21st of April at Ilia State University

In April 2021, within the ERASMUS+ project “Change in Classroom: Promoting Innovative Teaching and Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries (PRINTeL), the  academic staff and Teacher Development Centre organized 6 online training courses, where the centre trainers delivered  the courses on using innovative teaching / learning methods for distance education. The trainings were held via Zoom platform.

   

Up to 80 people from the university academic staff involved in teaching took part in the above-mentioned trainings.

 

The trainings were as follows:

  1. Online Active Teaching & Learning: experiences with technology; Trainer: Tamar Maghalashvili, Associated Professor, School of Business, Technology and Education;
  2. Designing meaningful online learning; Trainer: Levan Tsagareli, Professor, Faculty of Arts and Sciences;
  3. Improving learning efficiency using videos and educational technologies; Trainer: Alexander Ergeshidze, Associate Professor, School of Business, Technology and Education;
  4. Teaching Practices for Remote Learning: Supporting Students Learning Online; Trainers: Helen Juravliova, Associate Professor, School of Natural Sciences and Medicine; Archil Abashidze, Associate Professor, Faculty of Arts and Sciences; Giga Khositashvili, Invited Teacher, Faculty of Arts and Sciences. This training course comprised three sessions.
